Hello, my name is Marjanul King. I am 21 years old and I am from Nigeria. I have been in the city of Los Santos for around 10 years now. During my childhood, I used to travel all over Africa. I used to go to school at the Nigerian International School. They provided me with an amazing education and I can transfer all of that into being the best LSPD officer I can be. When I was 11, I came here, to Los Santos, the best city in America. At first I hated it here, I hated the school, the people everything. I wanted to go back to Nigeria but my parents wouldn't let me. It's a good thing that they didn't let me because I am enjoying life here in Los Santos. When I was 13, I got into a lot of fights at school, people were picking on me just because I was fresh from Nigeria, and I wasn't going to let them do that. I guess you can say that I had anger issues as a child, but I know that I have learnt from my mistakes. When I was 15, I thought that I could be a basketball player in the NBA. I used to love it, I used to play it everyday in school and after school, just long hours of basketball. It was the game and the scouts were watching, I was in the starting 5 and I was having a good game. Until my own team turned their back on me, they wouldn't pass me the ball, and even if I did get the ball, they'd take it off me. After that, I was done with everything. I left school to work at my dad's corner shop. I hardly ever turned up to work, and I wish I did. One day, when my dad was working the night shift, 2 men came and tried to rob the shop. My dad refused to give them anything, so they killed him. Justice was not served as the police did nothing to help me. This is why I am here applying to be a cop, to serve justice.
Why would you like to join the department? (50 words):
I would like to join the department because I am here looking to serve justice. I have always had a passion for being a police officer and I will be dedicated to my job. I will work with my fellow officers to help them, and to help everyone that has been a victim of a crime.
Why should we choose you, instead of other applicants? What makes you special? (20 words)
When my dad died, it made me so angry that nobody was here to help. I will be dedicated to my job and I will never stop until justice is served.
